Read a Romance Month

Never read a romance before? Is romance all you read? Either way, we've got you covered with our romance list for National Read a Romance Month! Just like our last list, each book includes a description with the trope featured in the book as well as a "Spice Rating." The "Spice Rating" lets readers know the level of sexual content that is in a book. Many of these spice ratings were taken from the website romance.io, where readers submit reviews for books that include their spice rating! Others were provided by romance readers on staff. The rating scale is as follows: 1 pepper - No sexual content or references to sexual content 2 peppers - Some references to sexual content, but no explicit on-page sexual content 3 peppers - Contains at least one intimate scene where the reader is present 4 peppers - Contains two or more intimate scenes where the reader is present and has explicit sexual language 5 peppers - Contains several intimate scenes where the reader is present and has explicit language throughout the book
